Seaside Sunday
SEASIDE, Aug. 14. The unexpected
arrival of four hydroplane Sunday
created a great deal of excitement and
hundreds of the summer visitors flocked
tb thi landing field to see the. bis flying:
boats. The seaplanes are the ones used
on week days to bring Journals to the

among the social events of the week at
Manzanita was the beach party held on
the evening of August 3 by members of
the Portland chapter of the United Ar
tisans in honor of Supreme Master Hud
son and Mrs. Hudson. Singing, games,
and a campfire supper comprised the fes
tivities. Among those present were:

Found After 10 Years .
Sllverton, Colo., Aug. 14. (I. N. S.)
The body of an unidentified man, be
lieved to have been burled In a snow
slide 10 years ago, was recently found
here "by sheepherders. The body had
practically withered away;
