Seaside Sunday
SEASIDE, Aug. 14. The unexpected
arrival of four hydroplane Sunday
created a great deal of excitement and
hundreds of the summer visitors flocked
tb thi landing field to see the. bis flying:
boats. The seaplanes are the ones used
on week days to bring Journals to the

Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Dowlng of Port
land motored in on Wednesday by way
of Seaside to spend a-vacation here.

Mrs. W. P.; Garland of Seattle.
At thei Gatzka cottage for all of Au
gust are Mr.-and Mrs. C. H. Oatzka and

Mrs. Torrey are at the tavern for an
outing.
Mr. arid Mrs. Thomas D. Honeyman
of Portland spent a few days here this
week, having motored In by way' of Sea
side. - They returned, home by way of
the Sheridan road.

logg and Helen R. Coldwell of Portland
are registered at Cain's.
Mr. and Mrs. C. II. Falljrraff and Mr.
and Mrs; L. L. DuBois of Portland came
in by auto to spend the rest of the sea

The Misses Stella L. Peterson, Edith
M. Hurd and Florence MaeHueh of
Portland, who are making the. hiking
trip from Astoria to Tillamook, made a
short stay here.

Found After 10 Years .
Sllverton, Colo., Aug. 14. (I. N. S.)
The body of an unidentified man, be
lieved to have been burled In a snow
slide 10 years ago, was recently found
here "by sheepherders. The body had
practically withered away;
