Officers of the Portland Ad club,
accompanied by a special commit
tee from that organization, will
make an exploration trip to Mount
Hood Saturday in the interest of
mora and" better hotels for tourists.
They will leave the headquarters of
the Northwest Auto company at 12
noon, driving to Hood River and
going from, that town to the moun
tain. ...
The plans governing the expedition
call for the arrival of the party at Hood
River at 3 p. m., where they will take
the road to the-ranch .of W. J. Piepen
brlnk, secretary , of the i Portland Ad
club. The party will be guests at the
ranch for luncheon Saturday.
From the ranch the trail will lead to
one of the Homer Rogers hotels, whet

of tourist hotels and - kindred subject
