The Lewis county banks have experienced a steady growth of business the past year ac cording to the figures compiled by Presi dent Noble of the Chehalis National bank. Following the call of. May 4, the total deposits in the Lewis county banks were $$.749,627.87. February 28 of this year the deposits were $8,057,126.92. On May 12, 1919, a bank call showed the Lewis county banks had total deposit of $5,912,802.74. This shows a rain In deposits for the year of $2,846,724.93 Of this amount the Chehalis banks ar credited with $1,636,852.31, a gain in the year for Centralla banks of $1,041,-170.10.- The balance of the gain is dis tributed among the six other county banks.
