ocean lines. Senator McNary has
formulated an j amendment which'
comprehensively covers that subject.
The shipping: board - is directed '. to
make investigation of all the factors
entering into a "square deal," : to ad
vise with cities and communities con
cerning the location of terminals, and
if it finds that existing rates or, regu
lations of railroads are detrimental to
the natural flow .of traffic, it is di
rected to report its findings to the in
terstate commerce commission, which is
directed to take appropriate action to
correct such conditions.

today. It was reported 3000 more will

when she backed into an airplane, pro

Benson Polytechnic
School Will Exhibit

Benson Polytechnic school will be on
exhibit tonight and Friday night, dem
onstrating to the public the work being
done to every department. The ! show
will be for the benefit of the student
body athletic fund. The slogan, "tech
nical machines explained in a non-technical
way," has been adopted. Among
the features will be an exhibit of auto
mobiles In various stages of repair and
construction, the work of ; the Benson
Radio association, motion pictures ana
vaudeville performances. A Chinese tea
garden designed by the Chinese students
o fthe school, will be shown Friday night
and a dance will be held on the floor of
the new shop .building. The building
nlll be illuminated with high power
searchlights of the war department.
