Jackson, forest examiner, spoke at Reed college this morning on the protection and use of Oregon forests. Jackson il lustrated his lecture with lantern slides of Oregon scenery, which rival the nat ural beauty of !iy district In America, and his talk was -instructive as well as inspiring through the accompanying il lustrations. No passengers were on the car at the time. ; Dry Leagne Official Resigns Edwin Rawden. superintendent of the Oregon Anti-Saloon league for the past two and a half years, has resigned this position and enrly in May will return to Michi gan to resume the practice, of -law. Rawden has been engaged in Anti Saloon league work for jover five years and now desires to return to his pro fessional work. Warren Bruited by Fall W. Warren, aged 38. fell 42 feet off the side of a building at Park and Couch streets Wednesday and was severely bruised. No bones were broken, according to a report from Good Samaritan hospital. Cheney on "Michel Angelo and the Renaissance in Kuroipe." which was arranged for Friday afternoon at the Art museum, has been postponed until Friday, May 7, at 4:15.
