Pendleton, March 27.--ColHnS FlOtif mills, erected at a cost Of $100,000, opened today, complete except for the warehouses surrounding the mill build ing. Thirty men will be employed in the mill and Its output will be 1000 bar rels of flour each 94 hours. The mill was built by H. W. Collins, local grain dealer and banker, and his associates. R. M. Crommelln, who for merly managed the Pendleton Roller mills, la manager of the mill, and, E. J. Matthewson. formerly with the Fisher mills in Seattle, is superintendent and head miller. A The mill proper Is BO by 100 feet, and the warehouse extends about three sides, two stories high. The living room, where the ceremony was read, and the dining room were attractive with daffodils and ferns.
