The Journal Irrigation Project Plans Three gov ernment irrigation project, in Oregon will come under the appropriation plans formulated' at the recent irrigation con gress held at Salt Lake City, said C. J Smith, agricultural supervisor for the Oregon-Washington railroad, today. A national plan was adopted by repre sentatives of 13 Western states whereby congress will be urged to provide funds to complete remaining- Irrigation proj ects. The Oregon districts under this plan are the north unit of the Deschutes, the Western Umatilla extension and the Klamath. Greger Boy Is Missing Unlike most boys who have a great desire to leave the farm and live tn the city, 14 year old Edward Greger of 179 West Blandena street is believed to have left the city to live on a farm. During the stock show Edward is said to have spent nearly all his time in the North Portland pavilion. Wednesday he left without making an announcement. His mother told the police Friday she thought he had left the city with one of the cattle exhibitors. When Edward left home he wore a green suit, cap and brown overcoat. He is 4 feet tall and weighs about 110 pounds. Discuss Grain Dnst Explosions Grain dust explosions, which have caused the destruction of five grain erevators in the United States in six months, will be discussed, pictured and demonstrated at a meeting in the peacock room of the Multnomah hotel Monday morning at 10:15. The meeting is being arranged by the Grain corporation and Dr. H. H. Brown of the United States bureau of chemistry will be the principal speaker. Cope Boy Is Missing Mrs. William Cope. 2923 West Sixth avenue, Des Moines, Iowa, in a letter to Mayor Bak er, has asked for Information regarding her son Clarence, who left home Octo ber 7 for Montana. Mrs. Cope describes mm as Deing is years old, 5 feet 7 inches in height and having dark hair and blue eyes. She asks that any word be tele graphed, collect, to her. Streetcar Hits Man Causing His Death T. H. Thomas, aged 65, of 1135 Al bina avenue, was struck by a Kenton streetcar about 5 :4fr Friday evening near Simpjon street, and received internal in juries, from which he died at St. Vin cents hospital.
