Prizes Would Help
Sunday School Work
Portland Sunday schools have caught
the spirit of The Journal's Sunday school
want ad contest. They see the pos
sibility of increasing the value of their
spiritual endeavor by using one of the
three prizes of $300, $150 and $50.
On Christmas morn such amounts
could be used in the Christmas spirit
The Sunday school could make its rooms
more comfortable, thereby securing
greater and more regular attendance, for
the physical sometimes is the path
way to the spiritual. Or the Sunday
school might succor some of His little
ones. The Journal want ad receipts,
with their contest voting power, will
help three Portland Sunday schools.
Christmas morn, to do these spiritual
things.
