Hansen of Astoria has opened the "Lauretta" cottage. Her daughter, Lauretta Hansen, Is with her. Mrs. William Olesner and three chil dren of Portland arrived in Seaside Friday and expect to remain all season. Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Osborne and two children of Portland have taken the Four Pines for the season. A silver tea was held at the home of Mrs. fophia Johansen on Seventh latitat Friday afternoon for the benefit lot tha' Episcopal church of Seaside. Mrs. Julia Reinhart and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schwab, took place Thursday night at the Moore hotel. Mrs. S. Galland of Spokane has taken ttf.e C. E. Smith house on the board walk for the summer. Her house guests are Mrs. L. Hexter and Caroline Hex tor of Portland. Mrs. S. M. Blumauer and daughter have returned to their home in Port laid, after spending several weeks at the coast. Mrs. Lilian Plymale entertained' on the Fourth of July with a bonfire in the afternoon for the kiddies and a musical and chili supper for the grown ups In the evening. Bowen, rector of the Episcopal Church of St. Michael and All Saints, of Rose City Park in Port land, will have charge of Calvary chapel for the month of July.
