Parker 8c Banflcld. Portland contractors, submitted the lowest bid t 192,238, with Q. If. Waale of thu city, second lowest. The bids were accepted tentatively, but no award will be made for a few days. The totai figures submitted were on the basis of Hie use of stone ns building ma terial, but the specifications were opliunal as to use of other materials. . Horn bidders submitted figures based on terra cotta, brick and other materials and eoso figuring may re veal that 'some bid, apparently higher, will be the best for the board to accer-. Fish 4. Bowen of linker, were lowest on th plumbing with a bid of $S22- and Miller & Hulls of Portland, were low bidders on Ihe electric wiring, wuh $4180. On the heating system, J.
