Mlsj Helen Smith, a sister of the bridegroom,' was maid of honor. ' She was becomingly - gowned In pin,)k and lavender- tulle . fashioned - over ' pink satin in- a -quaint 1830 design. She wore a chic hat of pink tulle, trimmed with a wreath of pink flowers and her bouquet; was "of pink KllJamey roses and orchids. r -.- ! 'PriscilLi House,! the pretty little daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William House, was flower girl and presented an adorable picture in her dainty frock of white net and', pink ribbons with-a wreath of : pink rosebuds in her hair. She carried a basket of Cecil Brunner roses. . ; . - : ; George Stanley acted as best, man the ushers were Howard Charlton, Richard Cnrlstie, J. Ross Fargo. Mrs.- Thomas wore a handsome gown of Armenian net in black with sequins in green, blue and brown tones which was made over deep' gold satin. - She . wore a corsage . of . orchids and maidenhair fern. . : The house, was a bower of lovely flowers. In a corner , of the drawing room where the bridal party stood was a ' profusion ' of pink and white sweet peas, roses, ferns and palms. , In the library were blue Delphinium and pink . snap dragons and in the dininrf room the table was centered with iris In the lavender and yellow tones. Mr. William V. Dolph and Mrs. William H. Barton served punch in me norary. Mr.-and Mrs. Smith left for a short wedding trip after which they will re-' turn -to--Portland for a visit before ko ing east. They will then go directly to -Muskegon, Mloh., to visit Mr. Smith's parents. Mr. and Mrs. L.elgh Barbour Smith,-and will later take an extended trip to South America. Prior to l.er wedding Mrs. Smith has cninvM a continuous round of enter taining. It Is a source of much regret that her wedding will taka her way, from Portland.
