A big Venetian bowl filled with gay little gold fish and a few yellow rosebuds centered the board and the color scheme of golden yellow was further carried out with small vases filled with yellow rosebuds - and yellow shaded candelabra. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Koehler, Miss Jesll Smith, Miss Louise Burns," Mins Claire Wilcox, .Roderick Macleay, Ham ilton Corbett, Prescott Cooklngham, Theodore Wilcox Jr and the host and hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burns were boats t another box party, their guests including Mr. and Mrs. John C. Alnsworth and Mrs. and Mrs. George Kirkham Smith. College Folk Dance. .The Multnomah hotel was the scene of a most enjoyable college dance last evening, when the active chapter in Eugene and the Portland Alumna of the Kappa Kappa Gamma - sorority rave a dancing party for the many college people In the city for the holi days. The bright blue of the frater nity colors mingled prettily with the gay Christmas decorations. The pa tronesses who received the guests were Mrs. Orlando Davidson of Port land, Mrs. K. E. The High School Follies, which was "to have been given New Year's eve, , has been postponed until the middle of January, the exact date to be an- nounced later. Pretty Ilome Wedding. A pretty wedding of the week was that of Miss Jean McDonald and Addison J. Atwater, which was sol emnized Friday night, December 25, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. N. McDonald. 674 Kerby street. The rooms were deco rated attractively for the occasion with Oregon grape. After the cere mony, which was performed by Rev. J. Bowersox, refreshments were served to about 25 guests. Only Im mediate friends of the family were present. Dr. and Mrs. Atwater left for a wedding trip to Seattle and other points. After their r4turn they will reside In Junction City, where Dr. Atwater is engaged In 'the practice of dentistry. Miss Shrader, 15ride-EIect, Hostess. The meeting of the Drama league, which formerly met at Hotel Benson, will meet in the parlors of the Port land hotel, Wednesday evening, De cember 30. at g o'clock. Roscoe C. Annual Co-Ed Dance. The Phrenodiken Debating society of Washington high school will give their annual co-ed dance Wednesday afternoon, the 30th, . in Vincent hall, Sandy road and East Forty-third street. The dance is in charge of Grace Smith, Lois Cowgill and Mar Jorie Stearns. - At Ilome to Friends. Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Oliver (Jeanle Thomson) will be at home Wednesday afternoon and evening. December 30, at 12 East Sixty-first street, prior to their departure for Walla Walla, where they will reside in the future. Engagement Announced. At a dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. Mark B. Can toe at the'ir hom la South Portland on Christmas day in honor of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Redding, the engagement of their children, Sydney M. Cantoe and Beatrice E. Redding, was announced.
