The 30 year of mar ried life had drawn them bo closely together that the wife could not bear to Bee her husband In death. Wednesday at 2 o'clock funeral erv- Ices for the couple will be held In ' Skewe' undertaking parlors .and the bodies will be placed in the earao grave In Rose City Park cemetery. Mre. Wicklund had been 111 for Borne time, though non of her friends thought her condition eerlous. When Mr. Wicklund died, however, ehe was so affected that she would not consent to look upon her husband. Mr. Skewes accordingly took the body to his un dertaking establishment and prepared It for burial. arranging with the Woodmen of the World for the fu neral, which was to have been held at --2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. "Believing that after her first grief had subsided, she would want to see how her husband looked." said Mr. Kkewes today, "I had the body taken from the casket and placed on a sofa, where I had It photographed. X called ' at the house yesterday morning. In tending to tell her what 1 had done and a neighbor came to the door and told me sbe, too, had passed away." Mr. Wicklund was B years old and his wife was 68. lie was born In i Bweden and she in France. Immedi ately after their marrige 30 years go they came to the United Btates, proceeding almost directly to Oregon. They had no children of their own. Mr. Wicklund was active In Wood craft and formerly was associated with Webfoot camp. Of late years ' he had been infirm and waa able to ' work but little, the Woodmen giving considerable . assistance. They owned little home at 981 East Twenty . fourth street north.
