The men wen resident In Oregm for some time. .The notification Of expulsion whlcn comes from David field, grand secretary, of the grand lodge of Scotland, -follows: Home time ago the attention of grand lrdge of Scotland was drawn to the fact that a Freemason whose diplo mas as a Muster Mason issued from grand lodge of Scotland, by name Mathew M'Hlain Thomson (or Thomp son). 421 Vermont building. Salt Lake City, was promulgating unrecognizoa or prftendtd debtees of Freemasonry In certain of American states, and In parts of the Dominion of Canada, and taking tees from entrants and brethren on tue pretense of conferring upon them legitimate degrees of Freemason ry.
