Ba kowski, a Polish photographer, who dis appeared in Crater Lake National Park in the winter of 1911, has been recalled by the finding of a tripod, showing ' the effects of exposure, three quarters'" of a mile from the rim of the crater, toward Sand creek. The discovery was made by a government employe. Persons who talked with the pho tographer before he entered the park, say that the tripod resembles one carried. ' A search Is being made near the scene in an effort to find Bakow ski's remains. Bakowskl entered the park, in Janu ary, 1911, to get some winter scenes.
