Tb roe bavins bid Its. day! during Rose Festival, Oregon lovers of the sweet pea will show their choicest blooms at the fifth annual exhibition of the Oregon Sweet pea society to be held at the Multnomah hotel, i July 7 and 8. '. The exhibit will be under the rules laid down by the National Sweet Pea Society of America Trophies and ribbons will be given as prizes while strict rulings will be enforced regard ing the display of the blooms. Private gardeners Include ; all professional -gardeners who sell their services as well as the amateurs who employ them regularly. Amateurs embrace all those who do not employ professional help regularly and those who actually du their own gardening. The juvenile class includes all boys and girls under 18 who actually do their own planting aiid care for their own flowers.
