A resolution was passed asking that the Gipsy Smith auditorium not be torn down until a better place be found for curing for the unemployed fiext winter. The Associated Chariiies is working on a plan for a municipal lodging house and will report t,this re sult of their survey to the city within 'a few days. It was voted to make the Associated Charities a central reg istry office for all cases of dependency and delinquency, both of children and adults. In order to facilitate all mat ters of Investigation and work and ob viate the overlapping of services. A committee was appointed to investi gate the various social service agencies and make up a list of reliable ones -to be submitted to business men who are now at u loss to know where to tall for certain services. Mason's Hid Accepted. Washington. June 6. Secretary of the Interior Iane has authorized the reclamation service to accept the pro posal of W. M. Mason of Klamath Falls for construction of the Lost Illver diversion channel of the Klamath Falls Irrigation project, ifason's bid was $19,022.59. The contract pro vides for excavation of a total of 111,500 cubic yards of material. Conservation Measure. Washington, June 6.
