Secre tary Redfleld decided Wednesday tnat To Absorb Freckles and Other Blemishes Every spring I receive many letters from girls seeking some reliable recipe for removing freckles. Last year I ad vised many to try mercoliaed wax. Such favorable results were reported that this season I have recommended nothing else for the purpose. The wax seems to possess unusual properties which completely absorb every freckle, with no harmful effect. The complexion Im proves wonderfully, becoming as soft as a rose petal, and as delicately tinted. Get an ounce of mercoiiaed wax at any druggist, spread a thin layer of it over the entire face every night for awhile, washing this off in the morn ing. Fqr rouhr red skin, sallowifcss, blackheads, pimples, and all cutaneous blemishes, this treatment 'is superior to any that has ever come under my ob servation. Springtime aIso brings " wrinkles "to many sensitive skins that are much exposed to winds and changing temper atures. Pour a half pint witch hasel into a basin, then an ounce of powdered sax olite, which quickly dissolves. Bathe the face in this; tha effect on a wrinkled skin is remarkable.
