TONIGHT The first of a series of regimental drills and matches will be undertaken tonight by the Portland companies ,of the Third Oregon Infantry. The regi ment will at 8:30 begin a march of five or more miles through the city streets. It 'is under stood that the marches are tha result of orders received from Washington, which desires to have the regiments kept up to full strength and in an ef ficient state.
