Browne alleged that he had been held
in the asylum through the machinaUnn,
of a Mexican government official. He
cnarged tnat he had been persuaded to
enter the asylum by being1 told that his
wire was tnere. .
This evidence was offered to th
court by his wife, who has worked faith
fully to grain his release. When the tm
status of the case was called to the at
tention of the Judge he ordered that
Browne be brought before him. Browne
was given a rigid examination and was
immediately released.
Browne stated today that he
bring legal action against the asvlum
authorities and the doctors Who signed
the commitment paper.
