ON FOR AMATEUR BOXERS O'Brien, Lee, Clement and An derson Are Athwart Ath . . letic Union Rules. Dan O'Brien, who is registered In the Pacific northwest .association of, the Amateur Athletic union, will be suspend' ed for the part he took In the unsanc tioned meet of the Traoey Athletic club last night ' If Clement and are reg Istered 1n the union they also will be suspended. If they accept any money for their boxing bouts they will sum marlly expelled. The above Is the dictum of T. Morris Dunne, secretary -of the P. N. A., who has the power of fixing the time of sus - pension. . Dunne "-says he haa :- as - yet given the matter no consideration, but will do so In the fiext two or three days. Had Tracey made tho necessary move to get the open meeting sanctioned, then all would nave been rosy, but as It Is a suspension Is staring all his boxers In . the face who belong to the club. ; .;. Last year Tracey tried to get his meet sanctioned but was turned down and this year he concluded to take the bit in his teeth and pass the athletic union up. According to the officials, had the iineet been a prrvate one In which only Tracey s pupils participated, the union would have had no jurisdiction. So far as O'Brien Is concerned he will probably throw his shoulders back to a 45 degree angle, elevate his thumbs to both ears, gently wag his digits and give the union the loud hee-haw. He intends turning professional shortly at any rate and whether he is suspended or not will pay . little heed to the athletic union.
