Meyera was met on the road near Pratum by Rev. Larden Saturday even ing. Ha asked Larden for money and a bicycle, saying that If he had them he could get Into Portland and escape. Pa September 19, 184J. She came to I Oregon with her husband. H. M. Pit man, about 15 years ago. They settled oa tbe Chehalem mountain, which has been their home ever since.
