McKlnlay at Zena, fit Polk county, about 10 miles west of Salem yesterday, occurred the wedding of his daughter. Miss Alice Cornelia McKlnlay and William MlUer of La Grande. Not only was it unique because tha ceremony was performed in the open air with only nature's decorations.-but the bride's father, administer officiated. . Miss McKlnlay graduated from - the University of Oregon In 190t and went to La, Grande to teach in the high school, where she met Mr. Miner, a prominent real estate man and banker of that city. Last winter she taught in the Latin department of the Linooln high school at Portland. The honey moon, will be spent in Alaska after which the couple will make their home in La Grande.
