R. & N. line. This station is located on the summit of the Blue mountain ranpe, and the report states that practically all the snow has melted and flowed away. It is,-how ever, customary for the Blue mountain snow to disappear before the snow be jrins to melt extensively at the- head waters of the Columbia and Snake riv ers and its disappearance by this time will therefore not have much-' affect upon the situation later on. While prospects' for a flood are con sidered good.
