In eastern Oregon the activity Is more pronounced than at any previous time and in some instances reports tell of a fractional advance in the price of low grade stuftV While demand continues est for finer wools the trade seems . to have come to the' conclusion ; that v values for poof quality have been put at too low a basis. In the Willamette valley the wool trade Is increasing, but so f.r-aa known no. transactions- have 'been made above recently quoted values.
