Oregon Aartculturar-eolleae.- Corral Us, March 29. Tne arrangements for the interscholastlc bastoetball tourna ment to be held at O. A. C. Friday and Saturday of this week are practically complete, all eligible teams with the exception of Lincoln High school of Portland, having filled out the required blanks and nlKnified a willingness to participate. Director Angell expects to hear from Liincoin High today. A committee has compared the rela tive scores of the high schools of the state and has decided that Pendleton, Hood River, Newberg. Albany, Sllverton and Lincoln High are eligible to enter the tournament. A series of games will be played Friday and Saturday with the finals to be played Saturday night. The games will be elimination con tests and will, therefore, be hotly con tested throughout. The winning team will . receive an oak shield with the names of the players in gold and the Season's scores. In addition, each mem ber of the victorious team will receive a gold medal suitably engraved. This will be the first tournament of Its character ever held in the northwest and It will attract a large audience.
