NOTICES

THE Journal of Jan. 10, 1909, stated
that Samuel Newhouse has purchased
the Rainbow mine in eastern Oregon
and will expend a large amount of
money in the further equipment of the
property. Mr. Newhouse is a multi
millionaire mining operator and his en
trance into mining operations in Ore
gon will give mining in this section a
stimulus which it has never before
had. He Is the first of the large suc
cessful mining operators to come this
way, and others will surely follow
where he leads. A property adjacent to
the Rainbow has been under develop
ment for the past year and will be a
paying mine this summer. I have a
lew thousand shares of treasury stock
to sell for the company developing the
property at an attractive price. Large
returns are sure, and now is the time
to buy, before the excitement com
mences. L. Y. Keady, 502-504 Board of
Trade bldg.
