POLITICS STIIt U. OF 0. STUDENTS (Special Dltpitch to To Journal.) University of Oregon, Eugene, Oct It. A Taft Republican club will be formed at a mass meeting next Friday evening. It will be organized undr tha leadership of Walter C. Wlnslow of Sa lem, an alumnus of the university, who is now national organiser for Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Mr. Wlnslow will be assisted by State Secretary C. N. Mo Arthur of Portland. Representative Al len Eaton of Eugene and Attorney L E. Bean of Eugene. All of these will ad dress tha meeting and there will also be speeches by prominent students. There Is also talk of forming a Bryan club but arrangements are not yet com- 1let.
