FIGlaifOII SCOTT ESTAIE A fight la court over papers relating to tbe estate of the late Grant Scott in which a conteat was . forecasted a few days ago, waa begun this morning when attorneys for John B. Coffey, the ad ministrator, secured an 'order -from Judge Webster citing tha mother, Mrs. Eliaa J. Scott, to appear before him next Friday morning with all docu ments In her possession and prepared to give such information aa the admin istrator desires. v All that the estate possesses, as far aa It now appears, la property worth $300, but it is claimed that before his death Scott deeded real eatate worth 810.000 or 812.000 to hla mother. It la alleged that this waa a fraud on the creditors of the estate, and an effort will be made to attack the deeds. It appears that Mrs. Scott and her daugh ter Pearl Soott have refused to allow Administrator' Coffey permission to ex amine the deeda or to give him informa tion tnai ne wants. In an affidavit the attorney for Cof fey says that Mra Scott and her dau ter are not disposed to aid the tstrator in his task, this in consequence gh-iin- of the threatened contest They will ba required to explain to Judge Webster on Tnuraaay.
