Epstein, owner of a tailor ahop at 206 H Washington street ha been sued for 1260 which Mrs. Mary Fortln, a former employe of Epstein and flval of Epstein's wife, declares she loaned the tailor. The coa will be tried in the Justice court. Mrs. Fonin swore to a charg of assault and battery against Epstein In the municipal court, but Epstein was discharged by Judge Van Zanto Friday morning because tne evidence enuweu that Mrs. Fortln had pulled his hair. Epstein admitted in court that he had "gone" with Airs. Fortln, although ho has a wife. He testified in court that Mrs. Fortln was Jealous of other women whom he favored with his com pany. Mrs. Fortln exhibited a broken finger In court and asserted that the tailor struck her with a pair of scis sors. Not being able to prove her case against her former lover In the police court Mrs. Fortln now sues him for monev which she says he borrowed from her.
