A ridge of comparatively high pressure extends across the northern portion of this sec tion, separating two slight denresslons. one overlying British Columbia and the other ' southern Arizona. Clear skies prevail this morning generally over the Pacif io slope, plateau region and the eastern slope or uie KocKy mountains. A thunderstorm occurred at Spokane during the night which, however, ' was not accompanied by ralnfalLy Light to moderate general rains over Nebraska, Kansas, the Mississippi valley, the up per lakes and - the Ohio . valley have attended the northeastward movement of the Minnesota, disturbance, which la now central over northern Michigan.
