' A big pilgrimage is organised to come from Prance, and to its members the pope will deliver an address concerning the conditions of the church in France. England, Austria, Hungary, ana oiner countries of Europe. , On account of these pilgrimages holy week will assume unusual splendor in the eternal city, because jthe pope will himself officiate in the Slstine chapel. and Cardinal Rampoiia in tne Vatican Basilica, of which he is the grove near this city. Classes, confer ences - and evening mass meetings are planned. Grounds will bs selected that will - allow camping out and yet be within easy reach of the hotels i boarding houses. Tnere will be at least tnree Bible study classes and two mission study classes. Classes in Sunday school methods will be organised and there I will be conferences on principal phases of Christian work. Though the names of the sneakers snd teacners cannot yet be announced, the best talent on the Pacific coast naa been Interested. The principal teachers will be Oreson men whose ability is well known and whose breadth or tnougnt wui make the sessions at tractive to members of all denomina tions.
