Voracious rats have eaten up two good-sized alli gators kept at Tolnt Defiance pui k some time during the past few days. The saurlans were brought here lat summer from loulslana by ueorgv M. Brown who believes alligator farming can be profitably followed In the mild climate of the North Pacific coast. The man agement of the city parks coaxed him to let ths city care for the reptiles, and he placed them, four In number, in a tank in the large Defiance park green house.
