The height of the building has not been determined upon. but will be regulated by the needs of the prospective tenants. The old frame shacks are being torn off the site, pre paratory to beginning the excavation. Mr. Wemme also owns the 60 by 100 foot lot north of this corner on Beven tenth street, on which he is consider ing a proposition by a Seattle concern to put up a building for use aa a whole sale house. This lot and the adjoining quarter-block on the south was pur chased bv Mr. Wemme 18 months ago for $95,000.
