The low preanure area yeaterday off the Waahlngton coant haa remained nearly stationary, but the high preaaure area north, of Montana haa moved rapidly eastward and the conditions which threatened cooler weather In this district have been greatly ameliorated. The preaaure has rapidly increaaed over California and Nevada. During the last 24 hours light but general precipitation haa fallen ev erywhere on the Pacific elope aa far south aa San Diego. In Nevada. Idaho, and Montana the precipitation was In the form of snow. Light snow haa alao fallen In the Missouri valley and at scattered place In the lower lake region and middle Atlantic states. It I much colder In Nevada, Utah, southeastern Idaho, eastern Colorado, and western Kansas, and correspondingly warmer In the south Atlantic and east gulf states and alao over a narrow atrip of territory extending from Canada aouth through eastern Montana and Wyoming to' wee tarn Colorado.
