Louis Fitchette, who received a sliKht flesh wound, when questioned on the witness stand said the Carlisle boys were hid ln the brush when they came up and that the Carllsles began the shooting. The Carllsles claim they shot only 1 self-defense; that they had a rieht t the claims and would not be bluffed off them. The coroner's Jury at Oakland took all the testimony except that of fou witnesses and came here Monday nigh to finish. The Carlisle boys, Louis and Walter, who have been in Jail hero since the shoot 1 rip took place, were called. The statements of the Carllsles were taken in the courtroom yesterday. After an hour's deliberation the Jury returned a verdict finding the killing or Mance Kincaid unjustifiable and that Louis and Walter Carlisle committed the crime of murder.
