are grown In Oregon, but It la said that

produced in the Philippines. A collec
tion of Coos Bay coal for exhibition

been taking cargoes to San Pedro, Just
before sailing north two of the larger
oil fuel tank were removed, giving
space for carrying 60,000 additional
feet 'Of lumber. At the time ah was
provided -with -the tank- It- was th
Intention of the owner to operate her
between San Francisco and points In
Alaska. Aa she ha been placed per
manently on the Portland route It will
not be necessary for her to have such
large-space for fnel.-
