She indorsed the name of Misa Robertson, however, leaving: out the "t" In the last name. The atgnnture of Ladd & Bush was seen to be genuine, but the woman waa told ahe would have to be Identi fied. She said she waa unknown here and said It would be an inconvenience. She answered Mr. Roberta' questions in a straightforward manner, but when he said ha would prefer to have her IdentW fled ahe became Indignant and arose to go. She aaid she could get It cashed at the bank the next day and didn't sup pose a little thing like that would cause so much trouble. Being so perrectiy composed Mr. Roberts concluded to take the risk. Bray, to recover 15,000 attorney's fees, is on trial before Judge Sears in the state circuit court today. At a, period between July 14. 1902, and January 17, 1908, Bauer & Greene sav they were employed in securing ab streets to 100.000 acres of land In Coos and Douglas counties, and' that they per formed the work at the Instigation of Kinney and Bray. The latter, while ad mitting the service, assert that the charge is excessive. Judge Sears said that he would have to limit the number of witnesses in the ' case. He thought 10 on each aide should be sufficient, which waa less than half of the number he had been told it was proposed to place on tha stand.
