An effort will then be made to have that portion of the ave nue Improved. Dogs in Street Cars. A dog in a Mt. Tabor car yesterday afternoon waa nearly the means of caus ing a pugilistic exhibition. A man boarded th. ar at "Trie Morrison-street bridge and put a large bird dog on the rear platform. Whew the Conductor came along he wanted to collwt a fare for the animal and after a fmit deafer talk. It was paid. Then the owner of the dog -toefe otav inside-the r and put him on one of -the seats, -much to the disgust of the conductor.
