A NOTED AUTHORITY TELL8
OF A HOME MADE REMEDY
WHICH ACTS PROMPTLY ON
KIDNEYS AND BLADDER.
Cut this out and put in some safe
place, for it is valuable and worth
more than anything else In the world
if you should have an attack of rheu
matism or bladder trouble or any
derangement of the kidneys what
ever. The prescription is simple and can
be made up by anyone at home. The
ingredients can be, had at any good
prescription pharmacy and all that is
necessary is to shake them well in a
bottle.
Here it is; Fluid extract dandelion,
one-half ounce; compound Kargon,
one ounce; compound syrup of sarsa
parilla, three ounces.
Take a teaspoonful after each
meal and at bedtime. A few doses is
said to relieve almost any case of
bladder trouble, frequent urination,
pain and scalding, weakness and
backache, pain above the kidneys,
etc. It it now claimed to be the
method of curing chronic rheuma
tism, because of its direct and posi
tive action upon the eliminative tis
sues of the kidneys. It gives them
life and power to sift and strain the
poisonous waste matter and uric acid
from the blood, relieving the worst
forms of Rheumatism and kidney
and bladder troubles The extract
dandelion acts upon the stomach and
liver and is used also extensively for
relieving constipation and indiges
tion. Compound sarsaparilla cleans
and enriches the blood- There is
nothing better than Kargon Com
pound for the kidney.
Thi prescription is safe to use at
any time.
SUICIDE AT TACOMA.
TACOMA. Feb. 15.-Karl Eggert,
a German shoemaker, 55 years of age.
recently arrived here from Oslikosh,
Wis., committed suicide in a Pacific
avenue hotel about 11 o'clock last
night. Eggert had remained in his
room all day and refused to allow the
door to be opened. While a police
man stood on a stcpladder outside,
looking through the glass of the tran
som, and three others stood near, he
shot himself through the temple. In
a conversation with the officers before
shooting himself, Eggert said his son
had a short time ago committed sui
cide in San Francisco. He was a wid
ower and is believed to have been
worth about $20,000 in Oshkosh prop
erty. DON'T WANT A TARIFF.
CHICAGO. Feb. 15. Protest against
the placing of a duty on coffee
has been sent to Washington by the
roasters and retailers. Congressmen
who represent this city have received
petitions asking them to use their in
fluence to prevent the sub-committee
of the ways and means committee re
commending a tariff. Information
that reaches Chicago is that a serious
effort is being made to raise a revenue
by taxing imported coffee from two
to five cents a pound.

Cure every kidney ill.
H. R. McCarver, living at 286 Hol-

years ago Doan's Kidney Pills proved
of great benefit to me and I public
ly recommended them. Since then I
have advised many of my fellow
workmen to give them a trial and the
results have been satisfactory in ev'
ery instance. I believe kidney trouble
in my case was brought on by
cold. I had always been somewhat
skeptical regarding proprietary medi
cines but somehow the claims made
for Doan's Kidney Pills Impressed
me and I beean their use. Relief
soon followed and I have had no ser
lous return of kidney complaint
since."
