It now vir tually is assured that Chicago is to have a new 20-story hotel. It is to be located at the northwest corner of Michigan 'avenue, and Hubbard court afld is to be called "the Blackstone" after the late Timothy B, Blackstone, for many years president of the Al ton Railroad, whose old homestead it will occupy. It is to be erected by the Drake Hotel Company and will be under the management of Trace C. and John B .Drake, Jr., sons of the late John B. Drake, former proprietor of the Grand Pacific Hotel. The hotel will contain 442 guest rooms, together with other features which are expect ed to give it a distinct place among the hotels of the city.
