PORTLAND, Mar. 27.-Unscttlcd condition still prevail in the flour market, partly as n result of the un satisfactory state of trade with the Orient and partly due to Jthe recent shading of prices on domestic grades by millers in the interior, but it is belief of lucal milling interests that a price adjustment to present market conditions will soon be effected, with quotations on domestic grades pro bably a little under the lint prices now ruling. In this event there will at least be some improvement in the local trade. Eggs, butter, poultry, fresh meats and country produce generally move in a satisfactory manner, and there is no complaint, of a surplus in any quarter. Eggs today were ; fairly firm at 15c to 16c and the demand in the North is sufficient to take all that are ont wanted here. Storage opera tions have amounted to little as yet. Poultry cleans up well, but receipts for the week have been light, and this is true also of veal, pork and mutton. There were no material changes in prices on country produce today.
