NOTED FENIAN DEAD. NEW YORK, Feb. 19.-New i given uut of the death on Feb 3, of Colonel Thomas F. Kelly, a leader of the Fenian uprising in Ireland in lfk)7, lit death wa kept quiet by hit friend who feared the publicity which hi former deed would bring to the family. Kelly wti born in Ire land in 1 83 J and came to America at mi early age. At the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted in the Tenth Ohio and was elected to a captaincy. He later nerved on Cen. Thomas' MafT. After the war he went to Ire land and became a chief of staff to James Stephen, the famous Fenien : leader. With Captain Dcascy he was arretted and charted with treason. While being conveyed from prison to court in an old-fashioned priion van in Manchester, the van waa at tacked by a fenien band and the pris oner released. In the attack a police icrgcant wa killed and number of the attacker who were captured were punished for the killing, three of them being executed. Kelly re ' turned to America and for the lust twenty-five year hai been connected with the customs service in New York. Kurdish hordes commander by Ali Kham have advanc ed to the village of Miandab, where Prince Firman Firma recently ap pointed governor of the Province of Azerbaijan now has his headquarter and a clash with these Kurds, it is feared, will prove disastrous to the Prince, as the Persian troops are de serting in large numbers, FACTORY CLOSES.
