The ocean-going tug Samson is due down from Portland today en route to San Francisco, towing the barge barge Washington, lumber laden. The Samson has been thoroughly over hauled since her arrival and is In good trim for the trip. The barkentine Gardiner City will be down sometime today on her way to the Bay City, lumber laden.
