We. the undersigned jurors, swrrn to Inquire into the cause of death of Blanche Day, on oath do And: That said Blanche Day came from Seattle to A9torla in company vi:h C. R. Fox; that they registered at the Merwyn Hotel as C. R. Fox and wlf., on the 4th day of January, 190", at 11 p. m. That on the Sth day of Jon uary, the said Blanche Day became an Inmate of the "Waldorf," northwest corner of Sth and Astor streets, and waa assigned to room 18 by Manager Julius Wilbur; that between 7:30 and 8 o'clock p. m., January 6, 19)7 she was taken with what the meJ ical testimony gives an opiate poison ing, at about 3:27 a. 1907. She waa taken from the Wa' dorf'to St. Mary's Hospital where she died at 4 o'clock a. m. We further find that her age wa 17 years, 6 months and 27 days, t?p-l further find, that we are unable to county and city, that they have been unnt! to locate him. Our foreman, under our instructions, has Med a crlmlnil charge against said C. Hoy Fox, of in ducing a minor to visit a house of prostitution.
