It Is reported that they decided not to pay more than i cent a pound for chlnook salmon during the season. Service will be omitted this week at the Grace church, a the pastor, Rev. Hamblln. for more than 40 years a resident of Clat sop county, died at Rainier, Wash., last Saturday. His remains were brought 4 to Astoria yesterday and taken over to Warrenton, where they were Interred in the city cemetery. The funeral was held yesterday from the Presbyterian church on, Clatsop plains. Captain Hambli;) was about 75 -years of age and came to Astoria In a sailing vessel.
