young ladies of the class, 1n thth- white
dreRwo. prwented a pleasing appear
ance, and were an endorsement of the Frederickson
assertion lh-t Astoria's young lady
graduates are as otoarming as those of
any .-f the schools In the state. The
colors of the several classes were very
tive and those fitted to do, by care
ful preparation. He emphasized the
benefits of going higher and taking the
high school work, and If possible that
of the university.
The vocal solos of Miss Shlvely and
Mrs. J. T. Ross and the Instrumental
duet of Misses Young and Frederick-
sun, and the instrumental solos of Miss
and Miss Mary Adair
were much enjoyed. Mrs. Baker prov
ed a very acceptable accompanist.
