BOISE, Ida., May J A special from Payette, Ida., says: Emilie Marquard on committed suicide last night by shooting. ' Marquardeon was sent to the pea not long ago for stealing cat tle. . The supreme court reversed the judgment and he was released. The matter of conviction seems to have prered on his mind. The steamship Queen Marl cleared at the customs house yesterday. , , The Christian Endeavor Society gave a social test evening at the Presby terian church, at which there was a large attendance. The local Ministerial Association has voted that Sunday evening services at the various churches shall begin ft half hour later, beginning with next Sunday. This will make the services begin at 8 o'clock p. m. The tug Sams n arrived in yester day with the barge Washoogal in tow. The facts of the rescue of the barge and the men aboard were not materially different from those stated in yesterday's Astoria.
