Friday evening the eighth grade met at the school and selected their class colors, also their officers. Af terward they played games and pulled candy. Misses Zena Chapman, Annie Payne and Louise Homes went horseback riding last Sunday. Mrs. Charles Sanderson of Central Point, accompanied by Mrs. James Knarr of Portland, spent Sunday at the J. C. Barnard home. A merry house party was enter tained at the F. D. Chapman home Friday and Saturday, consisting of Mrs. P. A. Bonney, Mrs. C. I. Homes and Mrs. W. G. Gordon. IT may be a call to higher business op portunities.
